Street Clean Up Arter Street

On Sunday 28th July there will be another street clean up on Arter street, Balsall Heath starting at 10am. This is a voluntary service run by Izzy Knowles from Garden in Boots, who along with other volunteers do street clean ups in and around the area. 

If anyone would like to attend I am sure the help would be appreciated. You can follow Izzy on Twitter to see how she got on and when other clean ups will be taking place.

Old Bikes Wanted

At The Bike Project, we take second-hand bikes, fix them up and donate them to refugees and asylum-seekers. We are always in need of unwanted bikes – contact Sarah to arrange drop-off. We also sell refurbished bikes to help fund our charitable work, with free nationwide delivery.

Balsall Heath Carnival

Balsall Heath Carnival, the highlight of the neighbourhood year, is on Saturday 6th July in Pickwick Park, between 1pm and 4.30 pm, with five local primary schools competing for the Anita Halliday Commonwealth Games trophy. Stalls, a bouncy castle and much more. Do come along and enjoy! The weather will be perfect!
