Safe and Sound course

Safe and Sound is a series of workshops aimed at enhancing life skills and wellbeing of individuals with disabilities, mild educational needs or other vulnerable people.

The 8 week course programme consists of interactive workshops and activities will help participants have a better understanding and more confidence in:

  • Disability rights
  • Hate crime
  • First aid
  • Mental wellbeing
  • Safety in the home
  • Personal safety when out
  • Safeguarding
  • Internet safety
  • Safe relationships
  • Money matters

There is scope for further support and development after participating on the Safe and Sound course with more direct support with money management, employment support, volunteering opportunities or signposting.
