Balsall Heath Second Saturday. A monthly festival celebrating community, arts, heritage, sports, and food in Balsall Heath.
A new programme to support mothers from preconception, during and after childbirth to early years (up to 2.5years) in the Birmingham area.
Join Joss every Thursday, 11:30am-12:30pm to explore health and wellbeing. This is a drop-in session with free refreshments and drinks.

John Newson from Balsall Heath is Our Planet gives an update on plans for the development of the Moseley Road through Balsall Heath
We’re inviting young people aged 15 – 21 who have a connection to Balsall Heath to join us at the start of an exciting journey to form a new on-going Youth Forum at The GAP Arts Project.
This exhibition shares a series of illustrations by local young artist Haseebah Ali that celebrate some of the social spaces and sites of community spirit that can be found in both the past and present of Balsall Heath.
The Gap Arts are looking for a young person aged 18 – 21 years to join them as a Youth Arts Leader Assistant for the first four months of an exciting new project that will form a new, long-term project for local young people aged 15 – 21.
Try Shared Reading at Balsall Heath Library. Just drop in and enjoy listening to a story or poem – no pressure to talk or read. Sessions are every Wednesday and are free of charge.
Come along to Women’s Enterprise and Community Hub’s sewing workshop! Running on Wednesdays 1-3pm. Drop in and get involved. Currently we are working on making quilts to send to Care 4 Calais.
Workshops take place on Saturdays throughout October, 10:30am-12noon.

Street Scene are trialling a new initiative to tackle some of the challenging areas for recycling, dumping and resident engagement. To this end we are carrying out visits to Calthorpe Park (Edward Road side) on the morning of Monday 20th September.
