Hall Green NNS Grants Programme

The 2021-22 Hall Green NNS Small Grants Programme is now open for applications.

About the Fund

A total of £90,000 is available through the NNS Hall Green Small Grants Fund until March 2022.

The central aim of the local commissioning process is to increase the number of older people who are participating in community activities in their neighbourhood, and in doing so either prevent or reduce social isolation and loneliness.

Individual grant awards must contribute to the “Citizens” theme of the Prevention First framework and achieve at least one of the following outcomes:

  • Increased social participation
  • Healthier lifestyles
  • Maximised income
  • Housing which supports independence
  • Carers feel more supported (as people and as carers)

Activities must take place in the Hall Green constituency which includes the neighbourhoods of: Moseley, Kings Heath, Hall Green, Balsall Heath, Sparkbrook and Sparkhill. The beneficiaries of these grants must be primarily over 50s.

Grants are available to not-for profit voluntary organisations, community groups, registered charities and community interest companies. Community groups and organisations do not need to be formally constituted. Work must be delivered in the Hall Green constituency, but you don’t need to be based here.

If you would like to discuss your idea with a member of the NNS team, please email us at HallGreen.NNSTeam@greensquareaccord.co.uk  or call us on 07584 500595.
