Black Lives Matter action – 10th June

In Solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement around the world, and particularly brothers and sisters campaigning for racial equality in the USA, there will be a Black Lives Matter action on Wednesday 10th June at the roundabout by Cannon Hill Park.

Like the vast majority of Black Lives Matter actions, this will be a peaceful gathering, respecting guidance around social distancing. It has been called by local residents who wish to express support for this growing movement.

As with a similar action in Moseley recently, those present are invited to stand on the pavement at a two metre distance from those outside of their household, to bear witness, remember the death of George Floyd and raise awareness of the ongoing struggle against systemic Racism.

Bring placards and spread the word.
