Support for sharing your activities and events!
If you are enjoying this website and the Neighbourhood News newsletter, and are wondering how to add your own news, events and information, then help is at hand.
Members of the news team are running this FREE event aimed at supporting voluntary organisations, community groups and individuals working in the local area get their stories out to local residents.
Learn how to make the most out of being on-line, how to use social media better and how to ensure local people hear about your services and activities.
Sign up through Eventbrite or drop in anytime between 4pm and 7pm on Tuesday 2nd July. We are really pleased to be partnering with The Mix Cafe to run this event – there will be a selection of hot drinks and sweet treats available to purchase on the day.
This event is organised as part of an ongoing project to develop a community media project for Balsall Heath and Sparkbrook. In addition to two printed newsletters distributed to 6,000 homes, we have an online news and events page with a neighbourhood directory – www.neighbourhoodnewsonline.com.
Supported by Active Communities, The Muath Trust, Balsall Heath Forum, Ageing Better in Birmingham, The Ashiana Community Project and hosted through the generosity of The Mix Cafe.
