Based just off Walford Road in Sparkbrook, Smart Women C.I.C. run a gym, beauty parlour and drop-in centre which is an important and empowering space for the women who go there.

Whilst the centre is currently closed due to Covid-19, the staff and volunteers have been working hard to support local families during lockdown. It is testament to the relationships that they have built with one another and with other local organisations that they can step up in this way.

This film, recorded back in February, gives a flavour of some of their work and how many users support the centre through volunteering.
