Police Patrols Balsall Heath

Following on from the recent series of violent crime offences we have seen locally additional patrols have been provided using force resources (This has involved officers from other teams from WMP carrying out patrols on certain days)

The patrols have been targeted at the locations where we have had issues with officers carrying out stop and search (where appropriate and lawful to do so) weapon sweeps and other crime prevention activities, community engagement (resulting in referrals to the Princes Trust for example and community intelligence)

Hopefully this has provided reassurance to the community and assisted in deterring and detecting crime.
