‘Painting the Rainbow’ Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a form of gentle exercise that combines deep breathing and relaxation techniques with slow, graceful movements. Balsall Heath Church Centre, Wednesdays, 10.30am – 11.30am.

It is combined with Qi-gung (Chi-kung) and can be a fun and excellent way for destressing from our busy lives and improving our wellbeing.

“Painting the Rainbow” is suitable for most people. It can be performed seated and standing.

“Painting The Rainbow” Tai Chi has also been particularly designed with rehabilitation and various heath conditions in mind, such as:

  • Falls prevention
  • Cardiac rehab (phase III & IV)
  • Cardiac failure (mild to moderate)
  • COPD (chronic obstructed pulmonary disease)
  • Pain management both chronic and acute
  • Stroke
  • MS (Multiple sclerosis)
  • Neuropathy
  • Diabetes
  • Arthritis
  • Sarcopenia (muscle wastage)
  • Eating disorders
  • Mental health
  • Depression
  • And also found to reduce pain, stress and anxiety.
