Rescheduled event, new date: 19 February 2020 at 6pm

We run monthly professional development sessions looking at the basics of working in the arts industry. From “How do I sell my art” to “How do I run a successful workshop”. Participants will be able to learn from experts and ask questions in a supportive environment. The sessions will be followed by a social open to all to allow for further discussion and networking. This session will take place on Wednesday 11th December at 6.30pm (1 hour session followed by 1 hour social).

Funding your Project: Working with Arts Council England

This is an opportunity to learn more about Arts Council England’s open access funding scheme, Arts Council National Lottery Project Grants. In this session, Bryony Windsor, Arts Council England Relationship Manager (Visual Arts, Midlands), will discuss what the funds is for, how to apply and what happens to your application when you’ve submitted it. Following a short presentation about “Project Grants”, Bryony will give an overview of Developing Your Creative Practice, a new development fund designed to support independent creative practitioners to ensure excellence is thriving in the arts and culture sector. This session will also be an opportunity for you to ask any questions you might have about accessing funding, and Arts Council England more broadly.

This event is free for all participants.
