Do you swim? Are you a regular swimmer?
Are you new to Moseley Road Baths, or have you been swimming here for years?
Do you have any stories you’d like to you share with us?
Women and Theatre would like local women of all ages to share their stories of swimming to inform a new theatre piece which will be performed at Moseley Road Baths on the 14th & 15th April 2019.
Women and Theatre in partnership with Moseley Road Baths are producing an ambitious, site-specific community production that examines women’s relationship with swimming and water; presenting diverse stories of women in Balsall Health and celebrating the area’s historic swimming baths.
We want to celebrate different cultures reflecting the diversity of Balsall Heath; with tales of childhood swimming in far-away countries alongside stories of those for whom Moseley Road Baths have been a staple part of their routine for decades.
If you would like to share your story of swimming at Moseley Road Baths, do drop in to either of our research sessions below, or get in touch by email/phone rosiegunn@womenandtheatre.org.uk / 0121 449 7117
