Here is a list of the activity we are aware of in the building in February, much of which is put on by our Unit Partners in the building.
Daily Thread’s Community Textiles Workshop. The next one is taking place on Thursday February 4th from 6.30PM to 9pm. This month we will be making covers for neonatal incubators at Birmingham Women’s Hospital. Apparently the bright lights in the unit keep the babies awake. All welcome. Our community textiles space is off the Upper Gallery.
Deb Day Sewing Room (above the café in the front building) has her regular Friday and Sunday Sewcials. She also has special workshops on making cheeky ladies underwear, using a dress pattern and a special on zips. Find out more here.
The GAP Arts Project’s exhibition, Shadows by Oliver Hassell is on until February 6th. It is followed by Darkroom Birmingham’s exhibition called ‘Aden: Then and Now’. This runs from February 8th to 20th. Details here.
Sundragon Community Pottery run a range of pottery classes with some places still available on courses starting in February and March. For instance do you want to sign up for Sunday morning pottery for beginners and improvers starting on March 1st? Details on their website.
