MIAH Foundation – Museum of Islamic Arts and Heritage

The Museum of Islamic Arts & Heritage (MIAH) Foundation is a charitable organisation established in 2020. Our aim is to promote awareness and understanding of the history, arts, culture, and heritage of the Islamic world, as well as the history of Muslims in Britain and Europe. We do this through exhibitions, education programmes, workshops, and community events.

Our long-term objective is to raise funds to establish the UK’s first independent museum dedicated to the arts and heritage of Muslims and the wider Islamic world. We are also committed to increasing representation and engagement of people of colour and minority communities of Muslim heritage within the arts, culture, and heritage sector by creating opportunities that reflect and respect their faith and cultural identities.

You can find us at Moseley Community Hub on Moseley Road (formerly the Moseley School of Art). We are based on the ground floor — please feel free to pop in during our opening days and come and pay us a visit!
