Bangladesh Women’s Association working in the community since 1988.
We provide a service for women from any ethnic background and practice equal opportunity policy . Our aims are increasing Women’s participation in learning, improving levels of language and literacy.
We build women’s self -esteem, confidence and motivation levels through workshops. Our qualified Advisers provide job search support for unemployed women with CV writing, job search, application form filling and interview techniques. We have Pre-entry ESOL, ESOL Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking classes. Talking together English classes, Talking Group training and Digital Skills for Employment classes.
We have an OFSTED registered Nursery and Creche for children age 1-4 years old. We are supporting women to progress into education, training , employment and voluntary work . We also provide school and college placement and run office skills training for Women’s sustainable future.
