This month there are so many opportunities for people across Balsall Heath and Sparkbrook to come together as a community and enjoy food, activities, conversation and learn more about our neighbours.
This coming Saturday, 18th May, there is a Spring Open Day at Balsall Heath City Farm. Visitors can enjoy music, games and sports. The team from Neighbourhood News Online will be there to run some drop-in sessions to help you to share your stories from the day – so if you want to get involved in making media, do look out for us in Balsall Heath Children’s Centre.
Balsall Heath Church Centre are hosting a Spring Celebration event – again, this is a great way to connect with others in the community through fun, friendship and food.
There are also a number of opportunities this month for Muslims and non-Muslims alike to come together and observe Ramadan. On 25th May there is a community Iftar at Moseley Community Hub (the old Moseley School of Art, next door to the Old Print Works).
