Birmingham Library resources for learning at home
Birmingham’s Librarians have been working hard throughout lockdown to ensure that people are still able to access some services online.
Head to the website where Library members can access Audio Books and eBooks (including magazines, comics and newspapers) for free. It’s also the place to start if you are researching your family history or want to learn more about Birmingham’s History through browsing through digitised Archives.
The ‘Learn at Home’ section includes a list of useful websites to support parents trying to ‘School at Home’. There is a link to free learning courses for adults from The Open University (lots of subjects) , along with other resources people may find interesting. Take a look and maybe have a go!
Don’t forget that children can also take part in the Summer Reading Challenge with the Silly Squad!
