Bring it on Brum! Winter 2021

‘Bring it on Brum!’ is Birmingham’s, Department for Education funded, Holiday Activity and Food Programme, that’s helping children, young people and their families have active, fun-filled and healthy school holidays.

‘Bring it on Brum!’ is the biggest scheme of its kind in the country, and after a hugely successful summer, we are excited to bring the winter programme to you.

Bring it on Brum! is for children who access free school meals. The approach in Birmingham will see provision across the City, serving disadvantaged communities, those most vulnerable and those most impacted upon by the pressures of school holidays.

Our website has been updated with all of the information on our winter programme so ready on and check it out.

Bring it on Brum! Winter Holiday Activity Programmes

Our winter holiday programme will be delivered in over 180 venues across the City. Many holiday activity providers are ready to take bookings now; some are still finalising their plans. Most programmes will run for 4 or 5 days from Monday 20th December. There will be a smaller number of programmes available after Christmas until schools return.

Our holiday activity providers will either be taking bookings directly or via the Coordinate online booking system. Either way, if they are open for bookings you will find them listed. Please check back regularly if you can’t find a suitable holiday programme near you as more are being added all of the time.

Our holiday clubs are designed for children who are eligible for free school meals. You can book holiday activity programmes now in order to reserve your place. On 10th December, schools will issue a Free School Meal code to each eligible child. You may be asked to confirm this code with your provider at a later day if you book before you receive the code.

Activity Packs and Food Boxes

If your children can’t get to a face-to-face holiday provision during the winter school holidays, we can bring a bit of Bring it on Brum! to you with free activity packs and food boxes. Our activity packs and food boxes are exclusively for children and households eligible for free school meals.

Select the link below to find out more about our activity packs and food boxes. Please do not apply for an activity pack or food box if you plan on booking attending face-to-face provision with an activity provider.
