BAPA Award for Chantelle Faure

On the 19th October 2019, local resident Chantelle Faure received an Award at the Black and Asian Policing Association for her work as part of Unity Streets.

‘I was honoured to receive my Award for Community Champion, presented to me by Nichola Beckford BBC Presenter at the Tally Ho on Pershore Road. I received numerous nominations – from friends, family, service users and the local community. I was recognised for my hard work, commitments and sacrifices, going above and beyond to organise street parties, trips, events and so on. I have had no help or support of funders, despite being a mother of 6, with the youngest being 7 months old. Thanks to the Black And Asian Policing Association for shortlisting me.’
